I went to see this film with high expectations. Denzel
Washington and Mark Wahlberg together in one film; it was bound to be a good
old fashioned action movie. The pair together led to some pretty funny moments
throughout, with the audience truly getting a sense of friendship between the
two. The storyline was quite good considering it was an action movie; however
the plot twist for me was predictable. The bad guys were played well and the
end scene was quite something. Yet Wahlberg’s winks and perfect shots made his
a stand out performance, with Washington’s part leading to some more in depth
emotion, and the pair together brought this storyline to life with the end result
being a good (and funny) film that didn’t disappoint.
